Due to the pandemic with social distancing recommendations, the normal Halloween “Trick or Treating” in our neighborhood was discouraged. Instead, PCNHA hosted a ‘Trick or Treat Parade and Halloween Table Decorating Contest.’ This allowed everyone to get outside, participate in a neighborhood social function and, especially, let the kids “trick or treat” safely.
The winner of the Table Decorating Contest was Melissa Lay Phillips at 1509 Huron. Huge congratulations to them and everyone else who decorated their tables/yards as well as providing candy (safely) for the trick or treaters! Everyone seems to have had a really great time while being safe – and the weather cooperated as well.
And especial thanks to James and Jandy Thompson (newest PCNHA board members) who spent their time and efforts review and judging all the tables entered in the contest.
