Great time had by all!
The 2016 Annual PCNHA General Meeting, rescheduled from April 26, 2016 due to inclement weather, was held at West Plano Presbyterian Church, 2709 Custer Road at 7:00 p.m. 36 people were in attendance. Dave Nichols, PCNHA President, started the meeting at 7:07. He reminded the attendees that … “Pitman Creek North HOA was founded in 1983, that sure doesn’t seem like a long time ago but it was 33 years. Who is here that is an original homeowner? The first houses went up in 1980 and the HOA followed several years later. Our subdivision was finished out in 1986. Our forefathers drew up a … Continue reading
May 2016’s Picnic in the Park was one for the record books! We ran out of our 150 purchased hot dogs with 15 minutes to spare in the party! At one point, there was a count of over 120 people in the park. The band, “Midlife Crisis,” entertained the crowd from juvenile to venerable. Snowie’s provided delicious snow cones for all. We couldn’t be more excited about all the neighborly love in PCN, and we hope to keep it coming.
It’s that time of year! Our Membership drive for Pitman Creek North is kicking off and we hope you will join our voluntary HOA and receive one of our beautiful new butterfly member signs for your yard.
After umpteen years of staying the same, the PCNHA board voted to raise our yearly dues to an even $50. Everything has gone up. Your dues cover the operating cost of keeping our 491-home subdivision looking great. This includes electricity at the entrance, water and sprinkler/drip systems, landscape crews and new plants for the 9 area gardens that decorate our area. Plus, we do seasonal decorations, and a couple of parties every year for all residents. You get a lot for that contribution, and we thank you!
Last year we had a record high for membership – 260 members – or 53% of the subdivision! The most EVER and we are hoping for even more this year!
If you’d like to mail in your PCNHA dues, please print a copy of the membership form, fill in the information and mail it to the HOA.
Tuesday, April 26th – Pavilion at our local Hackberry Park – 7:00 PM
Guest speaker will be from City of Plano Property Standards: We can learn what is expected of us as City of Plano citizens and just what Property Standards can and cannot do.
This meeting is for all residents, members or not. It is an easy opportunity to join or renew your membership. We expect to have the new yard signs ready for pickup at the meeting.
Come on over and meet the volunteers who work to make our subdivision look inviting.
